Description of the Product
Deep loosening improves the structure of the soil, contributes to the best aeration of the soil and its saturation with moisture. This, in turn, leads to the accumulation and preservation of more water in the soil and creates the prerequisites for the development of microorganisms and bacteria necessary for the growth of cultivated plants.
In the assortment of the company, the line of deep scarifiers is represented by the units FRANK and GULDEN.
Today we will talk about the rules for adjusting the unit for continuous tillage using recoilless technology - GULDEN deep emitter with a grip width of 4 m. "Moreover, loosening with this tool is carried out, at the choice of the farmer, in one or in two levels of arable layer with different degree of soil crumbling. Such an effect is achieved by a combination of two types of working elements on the machine - deep-splitter posts in front and posts with flattened legs behind them. The delta-shaped frame of the unit is able to withstand the large loads caused by the resistance of the soil when it is cultivated in two levels, "says Alexander.
There are four types of necessary adjustments:
- adjustment of horizontal position of the deep scraifier frame;
- tillage depths;
- positions of ploughshares;
- position of rollers relative to each other.
"Ploughshares installed after the chisels allow additional tillage of the soil in the upper layer of soil and achieve a smaller fraction of comas on the surface. This reduces the intensity of evaporation of moisture reserves and optimizes the soil texture of the arable layer, "adds the specialist.
Both the position of the rollers and the depth of processing with ploughshares are controlled discretely mechanically by the mutual position of the spacers - lower (perforated) and lower (with a stop) using fixing axes.
Alexander also warns that when working on soils with high humidity, as well as with a large content of rearing residues on the surface, in order to prevent "nudity," the use of lemesh paws is not recommended. In such cases, they are placed at the extreme upper position and become passive.
The mutual position of the rollers is regulated using talreps. As the length of the talrep increases, the rear roller drops below the front and vice versa.
"It is recommended to adjust the relative position of the rollers so that the axis of the rear roller is 20-25 mm below the axis of the front roller. This will reduce the likelihood of soil clogging the space between the rinks. At the end of the adjustment, it is necessary to fix the position of the talrep screws with tightening bolts," - advised Alexander Shepel.
The use of deep loosening in the technology of growing crops allows you to restore soil fertility as quickly as possible and achieve the greatest yields. And GULDEN for this is one of the best tools.
